What are the processes in a shoe factory?

1. The sewing process mainly involves sewing the upper and sole of shoes into shape by hand or machine, which is a traditional molding method for leather and cloth shoes. There are two types of crafts: hand sewing and machine sewing. Reverse stitching, open stitching, and straight stitching in hand stitching are traditional methods for cloth shoes, while pressing and edge stitching in machine stitching are traditional methods for leather shoes.

2. There are four methods for injection molding process.

① Injection molding method: With moderate injection pressure and high barrel temperature, synthetic resin plastic is injected into the mold to complete sole solidification and upper sole bonding molding in one go. Mostly used for cloth shoes. Leather shoes, plastic shoes, and rubber shoes also use this type of process.

② Injection method: Plasticize the rubber through the machine barrel, and then inject it into the mold at a higher injection pressure, while completing the bottom making and upper bottom bonding molding. Used for cloth shoes and rubber shoes.

③ Pouring method: Mix the A and B components of a quantitative reactive raw material solution (such as polyurethane, polyacrylamide, etc.) in the mixing head at high speed and pour them into the mold cavity, allowing them to solidify and form under constant (high) pressure. Currently, it is mostly used in the production of rubber shoes and a few cloth shoes.

④ Plastic lining method: Pour the plastisol into the shoe or shoe mold cavity, heat it while rotating the mold, so that a portion of the plastisol adheres to the mold cavity wall under centrifugal force and solidifies into a green body. Pour out excess plastisol liquid, continue heating to make the green body mature and form, and after demolding, put it into the shoe lining. Used for rubber and plastic shoes.

3. Molding process. The molding process is used to fit the upper foot (lower opening of the upper) of the last onto the sole and surrounding strip (used for rubber shoes). The rubber blank is placed in the mold, heated and pressurized, and vulcanized into shape. Mainly used for rubber shoes, leather shoes, and cloth shoes.

4. Bonding process. There are three methods for bonding process:

① Hot vulcanization bonding method: After pasting various parts of the shoe, they are sent into a vulcanization tank and heated indirectly with steam or directly with air or steam. While vulcanizing the rubber parts, the upper and bottom are bonded and formed. The secondary vulcanization method, which involves pre molding the outsole, sole, heel, and other components and then pasting them with other components into a vulcanization tank for heating and vulcanization, is a traditional process in rubber shoe production. Some cloth shoes also use this method.

② Cold bonding method: Apply adhesive to the upper and sole of the shoe, and press and bond them to form at room temperature. It is now commonly used in leather shoes, cloth shoes, and rubber shoes.
